Two Hearts Unbrokenis a sweet and inspiring tale about Sarah Benton's new life in Crystal Rock,Wisconsin and her reunion with Brand Reardon, a superior she had always hadunresolved feelings about. Ferguson's story is geared around the WoundedWarriors Facility in Crystal Rock, and anyone who's read other books in thisseries will be pleased to find themselves in the company of the veterans andthe other characters who make this series come to life so well. And while TwoHearts Unbroken works fine as a standalone novel, I would quite stronglyrecommend reading each of the books in this series. Ferguson addresses issuesthat should be relevant to every American -- how rehabilitation efforts affectthe future of Wounded Warriors and what needs to be done to help them eitherremain in service or have access to full and meaningful lives after theyretire. She also weaves into her story the extra issues and stressors women inthe military face. As with each of those books of hers which I've reviewed, I thoroughlyenjoyed reading this well-written story and loved once again getting toexperience the world of Dragonfly Point and Crystal Rock, and the people whomake these special places work. Two Hearts Unbroken: Two Hearts Wounded WarriorRomance, Book 6 is most highly recommended~

Wonderful Story to read!! I haven't found a story of Tamara Ferguson's that I haven't enjoyed. She sure knows how to write some very enjoyable stories that go straight to your heart. I never knew about wounded warrior programs until reading her books. I have a husband that was in the military and knows a few men in that type of position who would qualify for programs such as that. Keep up the wonderful writing and I'll keep reading.

The book had me totally engrossed. I liked the story and the characters are wonderful, but it strays at the end and never answers two questions....the whole reason Brand was investigating...a traitor...and two, why did her ex try to kill her the first time? Not answering the traitor question was stupid, since that was what the whole book was based on. It leaves us to assume that eventually it will be answered in the series. The whole ending was bland and left you hanging, which kinda ruined the book for me. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed with a Dragonfly Inn book.

He was however first on site to rescue her from Iraq insurgents after three days in their capture. You'll love learning more about their story as it picks up two years after her rehab and life as a civilian. Brand and Sarah are going to be working on a new program associated with the Wounded Warriors treatment center in Crystal Rock.

Two Hearts Unbroken is the sixth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. I really enjoy reading Ms. Ferguson’s stories and love every single visit to Crystal Rock/ Dragonfly Point. Every story has interconnected details, characters, and/or backstory, and I love that aspect about her books. Each one unravels a little bit more about the much bigger picture that is being woven in the background.
This story was emotional, romantic, steamy, suspenseful, heart-warming, and fun! Ms. Ferguson always hooks me from the very beginning of her stories, and this one was no different!
Sarah Benton was severely injured when an explosion ripped through the supply truck he had been travelling in while deployed in Iraq. She was captured, tortured and abused in the hands of the enemy, before being rescued and air lifted out. She has very little memory of her time from the explosion to being airlifted out, but she does remember who saved her and how caring and comforting he had been. She has spent a lot of time recovering from her injuries and is finally fit enough to embark on the next stage of her life. She has arrived in Crystal Rock to take on the job as administrator for a newly commissioned Wounded Warrior facility.
Brand Reardon had been her Captain over in Iraq and had been the one to find her and get her safely out. He has never forgotten her and has often wondered how she was doing. So, he is surprised when he is assigned as a liaison to a new Wounded Warrior facility where she is working. But, there is more to him being sent there- he is also tasked with keeping her safe as she could be a potential target in a terror campaign. As his investigation begins, they begin to spend a lot of time working together and become quite close. He is very protective of her and is determined to keep her safe.
Is Sarah really in danger? If so, who is targeting her and why? Will Brand be able to keep her safe?
I applaud the fact that while Ms. Ferguson does touch on some sensitive issues, she does so in compassionate and respectful way, whilst highlighting the hardships faced by wounded warriors and veterans. The obstacles that they face not only to recovery from any injury, but also in having to carry the memories of their experiences as well. There’s physical therapy in a lot of cases, adjusting to a disability, as well as psychological counselling, being treated differently, and then trying to get awarded disability payments. This series of stories bring a lot of these issues into focus, as Ms. Ferguson gives us a glimpse into the toll that war has on a soldier and the sacrifices they make for their country, and a little of what they endure when things go awry while in service. Touching on what the recovery process of a wounded warrior may entail, and the toll that has not only on them, but also their family and friends.
The story was also quite romantic, and I loved the connection between Sarah and Brand. Ms. Ferguson crafts wonderful characters- giving them strengths, but also not shying away from giving them some vulnerability. I adored Abby and Baby too.
Ms. Ferguson’s story is so well written, realistic, believable, very emotive and entirely captivating.
