Will a blind wounded warrior find love with the nurse who helps him conquer the demons from an abusive past?

2018 READERS' FAVORITE GOLD MEDAL WINNER
2018 NEW APPLE SOLO ROMANCE MEDALIST WINNER

Josh Loughlin, a blind wounded warrior, has returned to his hometown of Crystal Rock, Wisconsin at Christmastime. As a teenager, Josh operated with a ring of thieves run by his father. But when his stepbrother is forced to tolerate the same mental and physical abuse Josh experienced as a teenager, Josh decides it's time to step up. After going to the police, he discovers his father is involved in even more nefarious activities than he'd suspected.

Under witness protection, Josh is given a second chance at a new life in the military, where he excels. But when he's severely injured in combat, he decides to return to Crystal Rock for his rehab, reuniting with his stepbrother Luke, who was led to believe Josh was in prison.

As a teenager, Nina Chandler was a caregiver for her mother who was dying of cancer. Instinct had told her that despite the bike and tattoos, Josh wasn't the bad boy he'd pretended to be. And when he saves Nina from near assault at Dragonfly Pointe, they share a magical connection the week before Josh disappears, supposedly sent to prison.

Now a nurse at the wounded warrior home, Nina Chandler helps Josh confront the demons from his abusive past, and in the process she discovers the attraction she felt for him all those years ago has never gone away.

Does an attempt on Josh's life mean that his tarnished past has finally caught up with him, or will fate allow Josh and Nina to find love at Christmas?

Despite their serious subject matter, the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior stories are all about hope, with happily-ever-after endings. This #1 bestselling series has won over 20 combined awards since the release of Two Hearts Surrendered, Book 1 in the series, including the Readers' Favorite BRONZE (2019, 2018), SILVER (2019, 2016) and GOLD (2018) MEDALS in Military Fiction.

Thank you Ms. Ferguson for many hours of pleasure~Patrice Wilton-New York Times & USA Today Best-Selling Author

About Two Hearts Find Christmas~~
The exciting and heart-warming romantic novel Two Hearts Find Christmas by Tamara Ferguson has an unexpected military aspect that is enlightening as well as entrancing. As the story unfolds, some of the dilemmas the soldiers have to face when they return is brought to the surface and lightly addressed. It is a touching and unforgettable tale of a damaged body and soul learning to thrive and love. The romantic facet of the plot is delicately woven into a web of suspense tinged with a sense of danger, giving the reader a feeling of excitement and mystery. Love and suspense are combined with the menace of an unknown threat, making this novel a gripping and spectacular read for those who are romance fans~ 5★~Susan Sewell for Readers' Favorite Two Hearts Find Christmas is a well-written and engrossing story that combines romance and the holidays with some serious issues including PTSD, war injuries and child abuse. I've enjoyed every one of the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior books and was pleased to have the opportunity to read and review this one. As with the others, I soon found myself happily involved with life in Crystal Rock and Dragonfly Pointe, and the remarkable people who live there and work to help returning veterans heal and start new lives. Josh, his brother, Luke, and Nina are marvelous main characters and learning of their early struggles and challenges gets the reader deeply involved in their present day lives and aware of the problems adults, who still bear the scars of abuse, face in living fully. I also loved seeing how Josh finds his dog, Ralph, who, while not entirely suitable as a service dog, seems to succeed quite well in making his new human companion smile. I'm looking forward to the next Wounded Warrior military romance book. Two Hearts Find Christmas: Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance, Book 5 is most highly recommended~5★~Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite Josh and Nina, as characters, were easy to identify with and to root for. Both had had difficult, traumatic childhoods and Ferguson dealt with some potentially horrific subject matter with sensitivity and grace. Some might argue the romance plot is fairly formulaic, but Ferguson gives much more depth to the stories with her complicated backstory and continuity of history through the years. Definitely Two Hearts Find Christmas is a chilling reminder of the evil that does exist out there among us, but also a sweet reminder of the sanctity and power of true love, plus the indomitable human spirit that triumphs over adversity and works for good. Although I'm not American, it was perhaps appropriate that I read this tale over Memorial Day weekend, as Americans honour the many fallen as well as the multitude of wounded warriors~5★~Grant Leishman for Readers' Favorite About The Multi-Award Winning, #1 Bestselling Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series~

Ferguson's emphasis in this story, as with the other stories in her series, is on returning veterans, especially wounded warriors. Each of her stories is inspiring and helps make it certain that the service and sacrifices of the servicemen and women are not forgotten, if only by her readers~5-Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite
Tamara Ferguson's ability to convey the upheaval of emotions is pure magic, creating a realistic combination of treasured memories of the past with optimistic expectations of the future, while forgetting about the unwanted regrets of the present
~5-Rosie Malezer for Readers' Favorite Tamara Ferguson has a deft hand when it comes to writing romance. She chooses her words and scenes carefully so that the reader never forgets that romance doesn't always come easy in the real world. Sometimes it may need a little help from a magical setting, a good friend, or an innocent child~5~Ray Simmons for Readers'Favorite

I liked that he had low self-esteem due to his injuries because it made him seem more real to me. I wish that there were more books out there touching on these topics. Overall, I thought this was a great story. Ferguson's characters are lovable, and all of them have personalities that cannot be contained to just this one story so I am glad that Ferguson continues their stories in other books--5--Jessyca Garciafor Readers' Favorite Her plot is compelling and real, especially those parts concerning the care and rehabilitation of wounded veterans, and her romantic passages are sensitive, caring and tasteful~5-Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite
Wow. Just wow! How's that for a review? Author Tamara Ferguson has done an absolutely wonderful job in creating characters that her readers will relate to, care about and continue to think of long after the story is done, and if that isn't the hallmark of a great author, I don't know what is~5~-Tracy Slowiak for Readers' Favorite Tamara has a way of using people's fears and weaknesses and creates a tale of love and commitment. She brings together couples who are shying away from relationships, because of scars, mental and physical, and allows them to find their strength of character to build a future without fears~#1 Bestselling Author of Fiction and Nonfiction~Allyson R Abbott

One of the things I love about this author is I know what I am getting when I pickup her books and she never disappoints. She pulls me into her stories from the first word and keeps me engage until the end. Her stories are easy flowing and will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride every time. Her characters are connectable and lovable. They just pull you into their world and make you feel like you are right there with them~Bobbi Jo Wagner~Amazon Reviewer

I am a huge fan of Tamara Ferguson and her wounded warrior romance books. I want to go to Dragonfly Pointe, I want to become one of the characters in her book. I want to be there to help the Wounded Warriors when they come home. This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart and I hope you all fall in love with her books as I have~Kelli Harper~ Amazon Reviewer

Get busy reading this book, treasured fans of Tamara Ferguson, because you won’t want to miss out on this well written, heartwarming story that curled my toes in the best of ways – from page one until the end.

Here’s the skinny: Setting: takes place in Dragonfly Pointe, Wisconsin, specifically Crystal Rock, and a wounded warrior facility located there. Subject: Wounded warriors, Lovers with Happily Ever After Endings, Family Abuse, Suspense and Surprises. Conclusion: One heck of a ride!

How can the budding relationship smoking between Josh and Nina complete them, fifteen years after they’ve shared a first, but memorable kiss? Will they adhere to their present relationship as Nina, his dedicated nurse, and Josh, her wounded warrior patient, after he’s been gravely hurt overseas?

Is it in the cards for them to become lovers, or just remain friends?

Will Josh get beyond his injuries from the battlefield and his current blindness, to actually see the love Nina has for him? Will his chats with his psychiatrist in the Crystal Rock facility free him from his demons, so he can move on and treasure the relationship he dearly craves with Nina?

How will the Christmas season change the course of their relationship?

I implore you start your reads at the beginning of the series. Ms. Ferguson has so much going on regarding her primary characters AND the secondary folks that you don’t want to miss a thing. I, for one, intend to head back to book one in this International, Best Selling Wounded Warrior Romance series, and enjoy.

I’m a sucker for a good read, and this offering is a true winner. Since I never review and add spoilers, I hope you’ll take my word for it, and read this wonderful story. I highly recommend it.

Two Heart Find Christmas by Tamara Ferguson is a enchanting story that will warm your heart. But wait – it’s not just another Christmas romance that jerks your heartstrings, and it’s not schmaltzy and never makes you feel as if you’re being manipulated to fall for the heroine, Nina, or feel sorry for the blind hero, Josh. No, this is a superbly written novel where the characters are genuine and wonderfully portrayed.

Aside from a story that moves forward seamlessly and keeps you hooked ‘til the end, this book quietly demonstrates the wonder of our war heroes and the people and organizations who help them come back to life. Josh, our wounded warrior hero, is placed in a facility where he learns to manage his life in spite of his loss of sight. He’s courageous, full of vitality, and a really good guy.

Nina, the nurse who works with Josh and on whom she had a crush as a young girl, is equally as appealing. She also suffered her own brand of hardship while nursing her ailing mother for years. With no real childhood, Nina continued without complaint until her beloved mother passed on, then pursued her career helping others.

One of my favorite characters was Ralph, a spunky dog trained to work with Josh. He was absolutely delightful and I wish I could know him in “real life.”

I love how the relationship between Josh and Nina blossomed slowly, realistically, between these two characters. And I always crave a happy ending, which the talented Ms. Ferguson graciously provides.

Two Hearts Find Christmas is book 5 in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series, but it works very well as a standalone. I’d like to read more in the series!

If you’re in the mood for an absorbing, well-written tale about people who will inspire you and leave you feeling completely gratified, pick up a copy of this top notch story.

I so loved the story line of Josh and Nina. It held me so captivated that I read it in one day. I kept wanting to find out what was going to happen next. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

“Two Hearts Find Christmas” is a sweet, tender romance and the 5th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series written by Tamara Ferguson. It begins with Josh Turner valiantly rescuing Nina Chandler from being assaulted in a cave in Crystal Rock. As he comforts her, they both respond to a strong attraction. But unbeknown to Nina, Josh’s life has already been set on a course to have his name changed to Josh Laughlin and to be sponsored to enter the military for helping the police close down a drug ring that includes his abusive father.

Fifteen years later, Josh, blinded and seriously wounded from an explosion, returns to Crystal Rock for rehab at the wounded warrior home where Nina works as a nurse. The attraction she felt for Josh years earlier still smolders. As their relationship begins to blossom, someone from Josh’s past attempts to kill him. Can the blinded hero survive an invisible stalker who wants him dead?

“Two Hearts Find Christmas” is a well-crafted, engaging story that shows how Josh faces his haunting past and finds love in the arms of Nina, the woman he never forgot. The loyalty shown by Ralph, Josh’s guide dog, added a touching layer to this wonderful tale. I highly recommend this heartwarming novel!

I've been reading through this wounded warrior series. It's a good set of books. This one, however, disappointed me. Ages and names from earlier books were not the same. Taking two stars away from a good book seems like a lot for a seemingly little thing, and maybe 14 changing to 13 isn't a big deal, but Kyle should be Kyle, not Alex. A whole book was previously written about Kyle and his Mom, Beth. It was a good book, too. It's hard to believe no one noticed or cared that Alex took over poor Kyle. If not the author, what about the editor, beta reader, anyone? Other than these issues it was a good story, with only one, early on typo.

Two Hearts Find Christmas is the fifth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a second chance, wounded warrior, holiday romance with some suspense, action, a little mystery, danger, revenge- and more.
I really like what Ms. Ferguson has done with this series, each book can be read as a standalone, but the town of Crystal Rock, Dragonfly Pointe, the Wounded Warrior Facility, and the unique characters all connect the stories. I love visiting Crystal Rock and Dragonfly Pointe; each time is like going on a journey with both new and old friends.
The stories are really easy to get lost in for a few hours- Ms. Ferguson has a talent for writing stories that entice you further and further into the book, and before you know it you’ve come to the end of a fantastic experience. The story has a fast pace and a smooth flow, which makes it a quick and easy read.
Ms. Ferguson really knows her subject, she tackles difficult situations and sensitive issues with respect and consideration- also spotlighting the issues that wounded warriors (and their loved ones) face.
Knowing a little of Josh’s backstory from a previous book, I really enjoyed finding out all about him. The character growth and development was superb. Nina is a wonderful character and is a worthy addition to the Two Hearts family.
I will definitely be reading the next book!

Thank you, Ms. Ferguson!
