Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

BookReview.com gives 'Celtic Cross' a Must Read rating! Reviewer Kathy Brummond writes: Celtic Cross is a historical christian romance based in the west; a west that doesn't ask questions, just treats people fairly based on their actions. Cristeen Latham shows up at Glenpark, a ranch owned by the Donovan family. She is near death, having been shot and beaten. But it takes some time for the Donovan family to find out what happened because when Cristeen awakes, she has amnesia.

The Donovan family's faith in God has seen them through a lot and when Cristeen arrives in their life, they don't think twice about helping her. When she asks, they show her the faith they hold in God, trusting in him completely. This story wouldn't be complete though without the developing romance between Christeen and Matt Donovan, the head of the Donovan family. And, how was Cristeen hurt? Is there still danger out there for her? Will her growing faith in God see her through whatever comes her way?

Tammy Doherty has written a historical christian based novel that is well written and will be a pleasure for those who look for romances that don't have to explicitly illustrate love scenes to keep a reader's interest. Instead, Doherty takes the time to show the reader what thoughts, prayers and bible passages the characters rely on when faced with their dilemmas. It made these christian characters become more alive for me. Maybe it will for you too.

From the Author

Set in 1882 Colorado against the picturesque backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, 'Celtic Cross' is an inspirational romance. The story is a mixture of good old-fashion western adventure, mystery, Irish humor, and of course romance.
Check out the sequels, "Claddaugh" and "Celtic Knot"

Tammy Doherty writes Inspirational/Christian fiction. Her first three novels are Western romances set in late 1800s Colorado. After completing this series, Tammy turned to contemporary romantic suspense. The Mystique of Naultag series is set in a small town in central Massachusetts very similar to the town where she grew up.

Tammy Doherty grew up in the family greenhouse business but decided to go into an animal related career and became a veterinary technician. Her husband is "The Perennial Guy," so she's back to being immersed in the plant business. Currently, she works for a veterinary distribution company, selling pharmaceuticals and supplies in the Northeast.
